Anthony Vargas got his start in the beauty industry working in R&D for Elizabeth Arden and played a key role in the development of the Prevage and Ceramides lines. Now he and his wife, Mary, are bringing their skincare line, Tilth Beauty, to West Concord at a May 3 event at noa jewelry, fine handcrafts & gifts, 86 Commonwealth Ave. According to Vargas, many of the major skincare lines use synthetic fillers and chemicals that can damage the skin. Tilth's line of purely natural products don't have the same strength or effect as synthetic or prescription-strength products.
Join Mary for the Concord kickoff of the new skincare line and experience the Tilth difference, as part of a Mother's Day event that also features the popular Concord jeweler Deborah Richardson. Deborah will be showing off her gorgeous sterling silver jewelry, many pieces having been put aside especially for Mother's Day shoppers. Also featured are blown glass "Mommy vases" by Providence glass artist Jill Henry, which stand just 3 inches tall and make the perfect Mother's Day gift from the kids, and the spring line of floral scarves from Ayer fiber artist Maria Testa.
noa's Mother's Day event runs from 12-5.Take the guesswork out of Mother's Day and put aside your own gift with noa's Mother's Day registry. Wine and cheese will be served.
