Police K-9 Chases Down Suspected Jewelry Thief in Concord
"Neko" caught Clifton Pinion after he ditched his vehicle and took off into heavy woods.

A State Police K-9 chased down a Concord jewelry thief, authorities said.
Clifton Pinion, 37 and Tara Felts, 30, allegedly broke into Artinian Jewelers on Main Street Friday sometime before 4 a.m. A burglar alarm tipped off police, who said they found the couple racing away in a vehicle. The pair ditched the vehicle on Baker Avenue near the old Concord Elks Lodge. Felts was apprehended on the spot, while Pinion ran into the woods, police said.
“Neko,” the K-9, tracked Pinion and found him hiding in a thicket, police said. He was taken into custody.

Pinion is homeless and was last living in Lynnfield, while Felts lives in Medford, police said.
