Potato Truck Rolls Over in Littleton, Spuds Everywhere

LITTLETON, MA—A large truck has rolled over on Rte. 2 Eastbound, while carrying potatoes that subsequently have covered the roadway.

Reports indicate that the accident occurred in the area of I-495, and that there is a large amount of potatoes in the roadway. One lane is open.

State police told Patch that the driver of the tractor trailer suffered minor injuries, and that the remainder of the potatoes would take about two hours to clean up, estimating a three-hour clean-up when the incident was reported.
