Rte. 2, Crosby's Corner Construction Schedule
Here's a look at the next two weeks of work at Crosby's Corner.

Boston MA – The Massachusetts Department of Transportation released the following two-week look ahead schedule for the Route 2/Crosby’s Corner Reconstruction project:
Construction period: October 17, 2016, to October 29, 2016.

Daily Lane Closures Eastbound and Westbound will be deployed in work zones along Route 2.
Typical Hours for Lane Closures – Eastbound: 9:30 a.m. (as traffic allows) – 5:30 a.m.; Westbound:6:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.

All scheduled work could be extended or delayed due to inclement weather.
Night Work:
Route 2, Ramps and Crosby’s Corner:
· Night work tentatively scheduled for Sunday night October 16, through Thursday nightOctober 20. Work hours will occur between the hours of 8:00 p.m., and 5:00 a.m. This work will consist of grinding recessed areas in the new pavement and then applying thermoplastic pavement markings in these recessed areas.
Day Work:
Service Roads:
· Continue construction of the end of Old Cambridge Turnpike.
· Place topsoil, seed and landscape plantings at the end of Old Cambridge Turnpike.
· Install remaining Wood Board Fence at the end Old Cambridge Turnpike.
· Install Emergency Automated Gates at Horses Crossing and Red Maple Lane.
· Plant new trees and bushes.
