Smoke Machine Mishap, Suspicious Truck, Driver Passes Sobriety Test: Concord Halloween Police Log

Fri., Oct. 30

  • 9:28 a.m. A lost dog was found on Ministerial Drive and returned to its home on Old Mill Road.
  • 10:51 a.m. Following a traffic stop on Barretts Mill Road, Lindsey Filho, 30, of Tyngsboro, was charged with driving with a suspended license and speeding.
  • 4:37 p.m. Following a crash on Main Street, a driver was cited for failure to use care in turning. No one was hurt in the crash.
  • 6:15 p.m. A homeowner on Deacon Haynes reported a suspicious gray pickup, saying two men were inside and they said hello to his daughter who was riding a bicycle.
  • 8:16 p.m. A group of juveniles reportedly knocked on a door on Whittemore Street then fled.
  • 10:01 p.m. A smoke machine at the Concord Free Library set off a fire alarm.

Sat., Oct. 31

  • 7:57 a.m. A resident of Concord Commons called police about a neighbor’s wood chipper and said it was making too much noise.
  • 1:31 p.m. One person was hospitalized following a crash on Main Street.
  • 2:01 p.m. Police were called to Emerson Hospital for a patient who was drunk and out of control.

  • 1:47 a.m. Following a traffic stop on Old Marlboro Road, a driver was cited for speeding. The driver also passed a field sobriety test.
  • 6:40 a.m. Police were called to Keyes Road to break up an argument between a driver and a jogger who almost collided.
  • 9:15 a.m. A domestic dispute was reported on Ridgeway Road.
