Sports Week in Review: July 9 - 15
A recap look at the games and stories Patch covered in and around Concord this week.

It was a rough week for the Concord Post 158 American Legion baseball team. After starting out strong this summer, the squad has struggled as the season has begun to wind down, and the trend continued with a pair of losses this week.
On Tuesday, onto a second-inning 5-0 advantage, allowing Sudbury to score 15 runs while it managed just one more the rest of the way. Sudbury slowly chipped away at the early deficit before overtaking Post 158 and running away with the win.
It was pretty much at Lexington. Post 158 seemed to be on in the early stages, taking leads of 1-0 and 5-4, but couldn’t sustain the momentum throughout the contest. Like Sudbury the night before, Lexington Post 38 broke out for later in the game – five runs apiece in the fourth and six innings – to trounce Concord.
