Sung Compline Service, Tuesdays Trinity Episcopal Church

Trinity Episcopal Church in Concord offers a weekly sung Compline service on Tuesday evenings at 7:30 PM via Zoom. Compline is the last of the four services listed in the Daily Office. It descends from the night prayers said before bed at the end of the monastic round of daily prayer.
Compline is a simple office including a confession of sins, one or more more psalms, a short scripture reading, versicles and responses, the Lord's Prayer, collects asking for God's protection during the night to come, and the canticle Nunc dimittis.
The order of service is from the Book of Common Prayer (the spoken version is available online at bcponline.org). For an invitation to join our weekly Tuesday evening Compline, please contact trinity@trinityconcord.org. Trinity will include a link to the music if you wish to sing along at home.
