Tremont School Welcomes Students to Dynamic New Facility!
School opens in new state of the art space at Middlesex Green.

Tremont School, a progressive independent school with Middle and High School
programs, recently moved to a beautiful new facility at Middlesex Green
in Concord, MA. This long-term home was specifically designed for
Tremont School’s innovative and dynamic program, with sunny open spaces
for collaborative learning in humanities, science, technology, math and
the arts. Students learn through real-world, interdisciplinary contexts
and joyful exploration that builds on their natural curiosity and
personal interests. Tremont School classrooms are intentionally small
with an extremely low student to teacher ratio of 5:1. In 2018, Tremont
School became one of the youngest schools ever to receive accreditation
from the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC).
“Our new location is a turning point for our students and the growth of
our school,” said Ben Niles, Head of School. “Our 21st century
curriculum aligns with our new space enabling our students to expand
their thinking, unlock their creativity, and dive deeper into their
learning. Tremont School is a ground-breaking learning lab here in the
Greater Boston area and there is no other independent school quite like
us. We invite you to tour our school at one of our Admissions open
houses!”
Founded in 2011, the Tremont School is a vibrant and deliberately
diverse community that challenges students to take ownership of their
learning. Its name derives from the three mountain peaks of learning -
social, emotional, and academic - and students with diverse learning
styles all reach their full potential in this transformative educational
experience. Tremont School graduates critical thinkers,
problem-solvers, and compassionate and dynamic citizens who go on to
follow their dreams, whether that be to begin college, a post-graduate
or technical program, or a career.
