Trinity Episcopal Church welcomes new Choir members
Do you like to sing? Trinity Episcopal Church in Concord welcomes choir members to its three parish choirs. Rehearsals on Thursdays.

Trinity Episcopal Church, 81 Elm Street in Concord, welcomes new members to its parish choirs in September. No matter what your age, there is a choir for you that rehearses in the spacious choir room under the direction of Robert Barney, Trinity's organist/music director.
The Junior Choir rehearses from 4 to 5 pm and is our training group for the youngest singers ages 8 to 10. No previous experience required and the group explores the Book of Common Prayer, the Hymnal 1982, our liturgy and music and singing skills in the context of the Royal School of Church Music program.
The Youth Choir is for ages 11 to 16, and rehearses from 5:15 to 6:15 pm, building on previous musical experience following the RSCM program. This choir sings at our 10 am service on the first Sunday of the month, as well as for special services at Christmas and Holy Week. In October, the Youth Choir will join the Parish Choir to sing Edward Elgar's Ave Verum. The Youth Choir also sings the service of Choral Evensong in December and June.

The Parish Choir is for high school students and adults who find their service to the church in the special ministry of music. The Parish Choir rehearses from 7:45 to 9:45 pm and sings at every 10 am Sunday service, as well as special services throughout the year including Choral Evensong in November, March, and May. Repertoire this fall will include works by Brahms, Elgar, Poston, Rutter and Vaughan Williams. The November Choral Evensong includes Bach's Cantata 79, Gott der Herr ist Sonn und Schild. All choirs participate in our Service of Lessons and Carols in Epiphany.
