2-Year-Old Found in Danvers Pool Dies

Reports say the toddler fell into a pool and was taken to Boston Children's Hospital.

DANVERS, MA — A Danvers toddler that was found in a pool Thursday night has died at Boston Children's Hospital.

Danvers police received a 911 call just before 8 p.m. for the toddler who was found in an in-ground pool during a gathering on Drury Lane. Family members at the house performed CPR until emergency responders arrived. The boy was taken to Beverly Hospital before being transported to Children's Hospital.

The boy has been identified by the Essex County District Attorney's office as Griffin Lamar, according to the Boston Globe.
