3rd Annual All Saints Vacation Garden School Now Enrolling

Back by popular demand, the All Saints Episcopal Church Vacation Garden School returns for a third glorious year to help children 4 to 13 learn about the wonders of God's creation with interactive, hands-on experiences about animals, seeds, water, soil, planting and harvest.

Children convene in Parish Hall and spill out onto the church green, at All Saints Episcopal Church of the North Shore, 46 Cherry Street, from 9 - 11:30 a.m., Monday, July 9 through Friday, July 13, for five half-days filled with fun, adventure and age-appropriate, experiential learning.

The All Saints' Vacation Garden School focuses on teaching campers to care for and appreciate all of God's gifts to us in our world, providing interactive learning units on water, animals, soil (yes, there will also be wriggly worms!), seeds, and harvest. Children will explore the world of seeds and how they germinate, and best of all, the youngsters will get to share in a mini-harvest by delivering gifts of small pots of herbs to church neighbors along Cherry Street. Each pot will boast a marker with the message, "Our Vacation Garden School is Harvesting New Friendships."

Campers, ages 4-8, will attend from 9 AM to 11:45 AM and be paired with Junior Counselors, 9 to 13, who will attend through noon each day. Registration is limited to 15 Campers and five Junior Counselors. Enrollment for Campers and Junior Counselors is $75.00 per week for the first child. There is a sibling discount for the second child of $60.00, and an additional sibling discount for the third child in a family at $50.00. For four siblings or more, the family rate for the Vacation Garden School is $185.00 for the week. Active members of the All Saints Episcopal Church of the North Shore will receive a 25% tuition discount. There are no daily rates or credits for missed days and the enrollment fee includes a Garden Vacation School Tee Shirt and a daily, theme-based snack.
