5-Week Danvers Natural Gas Pipe Replacement Project Starts Next Week
The Danvers Department of Public Works said the project affecting residents of Fletcher Street and Braman Street will begin on Feb. 12.
DANVERS, MA — A five-week project to replace the natural gas pipeline to residents in the Fletcher Street and Braman Street neighborhood will begin next week.
The Danvers Department of Public Works said National Grid determined the pipes must be replaced based on "the age and material of the existing natural gas pipeline."
Danvers DPW said the gas main and existing service to every individual home will be replaced during this time.

Construction will take place from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily with police details assisting residents around the neighborhood.
All gas meters will be relocated outside of residences.
