6 North Shore Cities, Towns To Hold Joint Municipal Hiring Fair

Beverly, Danvers, Middleton, Lynn, Peabody and Salem will be looking to fill openings during a four-day hiring event this month.

SALEM, MA — Six North Shore communities will join forces to fill more than a few good municipal jobs during a four-day hiring event in November.

Beverly, Danvers, Middleton, Lynn, Peabody and Salem are looking to fill positions in the departments of public works, school departments, libraries, town and city halls, and more. The MassHire North Shore Career Center will host the event on Nov. 9 and Nov. 10 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Nov. 16 and Nov. 17 from noon to 3 p.m.

Beverly: pumping station operator, heavy equipment operator, water maintenance.

Danvers: Director of Equity and Inclusion, site coordinator, program activity assistant.

Lynn: snow fighter, school crossing guard.

Peabody: substitute teachers, response nurses, electricians, water distribution.
