All Saints' Blue Christmas Service on the Longest Night of the Year
A comforting service offering love and community for those who find this season difficult. On Zoom only, at 7 PM on Thursday, December 21

God of comfort, come gently among us this evening; hear our prayers, restore our souls.
Knit together our loose ends; smooth over our rough edges; restore our souls.
-- Jerie Lukefahr, CRE
If the festivities of the holiday season -- the twinkling lights, the music, the tinsel, and the decorations -- serve only to deepen your sadness, All Saints Episcopal Church of the North Shore offers an oasis of comfort and community.
Join us on Thursday, December 21 -- the Winter Solstice -- the longest night of the year, for our annual Blue Christmas service on Zoom at 7 PM.
In this service, officiated by The Rev. Brock Baker, with guitar and vocals offered by Ryan O'Connell, we invite you to listen. We invite you to pray. We invite you to sing. We invite you to meditate upon the hurts, pain, and anguish you may carry.
This Thursday, allow Emmanuel—God with us— to shine a light of hope into our darkness, stand with us in our sorrows, and remind us that even the longest night does not last forever.

We trust that you will find hope and comfort in knowing that you are not alone. We will be lighting four candles, and we invite you to have one candle, as well as a pen and paper, handy beside your computer, tablet, or cell phone.
This service is open to all and welcomes all, whether you believe, question, or don't believe.
