DANVERS, MA — Danvers residents are invited to Town Hall for a Juneteenth celebration of freedom, culture, resilience and unity.
The event is set for June 18 at 3:30 p.m. with a special guest spoken word from Kaleo Jacobs.
The event will also include music, art and social expression.
The Danvers Human Rights & Inclusion Committee will host the program.
Town offices will be closed for Juneteenth on June 19.
Juneteenth is a federal holiday observed across the country as a recognition of Black history and freedom.
