DANVERS, MA — The Danvers Downtown Rewind has been postponed until Thursday because of rain in the forecast.
FalconFest organizers said the chance of thunderstorms spurred the decision to postpone the event from Tuesday to its rain date. It will now be held Thursday night from 5 to 8 p.m. on Maple Street.
Downtown Rewind is a night of nostalgic entertainment, music, activities and fun designed to appeal to the young and young at heart.
There will be an appearance by "Elvis," along with classic cars and a demonstration from the Tae Kwon Do Academy.
"The safety of the attendees, volunteers, vendors, and entertainers is a top priority, and we look forward to an even better evening on Thursday," FalconFest organizers said.
Those who signed up for a volunteer shift on Tuesday are asked to sign up for a new slot on Thursday here.
