• New orange trailers are watching Mass. highways for wrong-way drivers (masslive.com) — New mobile wrong‑way detection trailers and broader safety upgrades are being rolled out across Massachusetts highways as part of a law announced at the State Police barracks in Danvers, honoring a trooper killed by a wrong‑way driver. The initiative adds radar‑triggered warning trailers, hundreds of permanent detection systems, roadway design changes, and new driver education and police training requirements through 2027.
