DANVERS, MA — A Danvers woman is celebrating cashing in for more than a quarter-million win in the Massachusetts State Lottery's new eInstant game.
Kalen Hickenbottom won the $251,096 prize while playing the $10 "Big Crush Multiplier" game.
Hickenbottom claimed her prize at the Mass Lottery's headquarters in Dorchester. She said she plans on using the winnings to pay for her daughter's upcoming wedding.
Prizes won purchased online of $50,000 or more must be claimed at the Lottery's headquarters in Dorchester.
To play Mass Lottery games online, players must be 21 or older and physically located in Massachusetts at the time of play and to make a deposit to their account.
Players need to have a Mass Lottery Player Account, which can be created at masslottery.com or by downloading the Mass Lottery app on a mobile device or tablet.
