The Clara & Harvey Pillsbury Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit agency formed in October, 2008 after the sale of the Pillsbury House located at 18 Park Street, Danvers. Mr. Pillsbury set up this home as a legacy to his wife. It was a boarding house for many decades, catering to seniors in Danvers. Times changed and there were fewer people looking for the type of housing that Pillsbury House offered. With money from the sale of the house, as well as endowments recieved over the years, The Clara & Harvey Pillsbury Foundation, Inc. was formed.
For the past 6 years we have carried out the mission of Clara and Harvey Pillsbury by awarding monetary grants to community non-profit organizations that serve Senior Citizens of Danvers. We are in the process of recieving applications for this year's grants. If you are a member of a non-profit organization that qualifies, you may request an application by emailing your request to thechpillsburyfoundationinc@gmail.com. An application can be filled out on line and emailed back to the email address, or can be printed out and mailed to P.O. Box 2154. All applications must be received by midnight, September 1, 2012.
