Annual Service of Remembrance & Thanksgiving for Pets on Zoom
Bring a candle to light, pray, sing, remember & celebrate much-loved animal companions who have died this year at this sweet service
This Sunday, November 19, at 5 PM, on Zoom (Meeting ID: 990 855 545 / Password: Saintfranc) circle around your computers, tablets or cell phones -- bring your family and friends and your household animal friends and join us for a special Perfect Paws Pet Ministry service of remembrance and thanksgiving for the animals in our lives we have loved and lost. All faiths and no faiths are welcome along with the animals that currently enhance our lives.
Have a small candle handy to safely light in memory of beloved animal companions, watch a tribute video for animals we have lost this year, and celebrate the joy and blessing of having been touched and transformed by creatures of God who showed such unconditional love and loyalty, wisdom and grace. Well-known author, E.B. Bartels -- whose book, "Good Grief On Loving Pets Here and Hereafter" has been garnering wonderful reviews, officiates and offers a reflection. Guitarist-vocalist Steve O'Connell offers beautiful, live music during the service.
There will be a "spiritual communion," in the form of a virtual Agape meal ... so bring bread, wine or a beverage and share it at our Spirit-filled service of light and love.
