Puddingstone Place will offer programming developed by Dr. Howard C. Shane of Boston Children's Hospital

From Puddingstone Place: Puddingstone Place, a provider of programming developed by Dr. Howard C. Shane of Boston Children’s Hospital and creator of world-class therapies using the latest technology to enhance communication, support behavioral changes, and improve the overall quality of life for people with autism and other developmental disabilities, is pleased to announce the opening of its third and newest location at 152 Sylvan Street in Danvers, Massachusetts.
Created to give care providers and people living with an autism spectrum disorder or complex communication needs access to a continuum of support under one roof, Puddingstone Place proudly offers an array of specialized, sought-after services in the areas of communication and language, behavior and occupational therapies. Whether care is center-based, received in-home or provided in conjunction with school staff, each learner at Puddingstone Place is treated uniquely and receives support designed to meet their specific needs.
The Visual Immersion System ™(VIS), a proven, evidence-based approach utilized by Puddingstone’s team of clinicians, is a comprehensive framework and instructional philosophy for supporting communication and teaching language skills to people with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities. In addition to supporting a more traditional, spoken-language approach, the VIS also includes a strong focus on use of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) to help bring about measurable progress in learners with a broad range of diagnoses, profiles, communication modalities and goals.
