Back To School: Danvers 2021-22 School Calendar

DANVERS, MA — Back-to-school planning has already begun in Danvers, with calendars available to help parents prepare for the first day in Danvers Public Schools.

The first day of school for most students in Danvers is Thursday, Sept. 9.

Heading into the upcoming school year, some dates are subject to change as the coronavirus pandemic nears its year-and-a-half point.

According to the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education's most recent guidance, in-person classroom learning, five days a week is planned for the upcoming 2021-2022 school year in all school districts — including Danvers.

Here is the list of dates to know for this school year:

Danvers Public Schools

First Day: Sept. 9 (K-12); Sept. 13 (preschool)

Thanksgiving Break: Nov. 24 (early dismissal) - Nov. 28

Winter Break: Dec 23 (early dismissal) - Jan. 2

February Vacation: Feb. 21-25

April Vacation: April 18-22

Last Day Of School: June 21 (with no snow days)

Danvers High Graduation: June 11

Holidays With No School: Columbus Day (Oct. 11), Veterans Day (Nov. 11), Martin Luther King Jr. Day (Jan. 17), Memorial Day (May 30), Juneteenth (observed June 20)
