Back To School: Danvers 2023-24 School Calendar

DANVERS, MA — Back-to-school planning has already begun in Danvers, with calendars available to help parents prepare for the first day at Danvers High School, Holten Richmond Middle School and the elementary schools.

The first day of school for most students in Danvers is Sept. 6.

Heading into the upcoming school year, some dates are subject to change. Here is the list of dates to know for this school year:

Danvers Public Schools

First Day: Sept. 6 for Grades 1-12 (early release first three days)

Sept. 7 for pre-kindergarten

Thanksgiving Break: Nov. 23 through Nov. 26 (early release on Nov. 22)

Winter Break: Dec. 25 through Jan. 1

February Break: Feb. 19 through Feb. 23

April Break: April 15 through April 19

Last Day: June 14; with five snow days June 24, including Juneteenth holiday on June 19

No School Days: Columbus/Indigenous Peoples' Day Oct. 9, Family Conferences Nov. 7, Veterans Day Nov. 10, Martin Luther King Jr. Day Jan. 15, Good Friday March 29, Memorial Day May 27.
