Heidi Nicholson, left, and Lisa Almeida, right, co-owners of Bella Sera Bridal in Danvers present Jo-Anne Spillane of Make-a-Wish Massachusetts and Rhode Island with a check for just over $17,000. The money was raised at the bridal salon's "Wishing on a Starry Night" fashion fundraiser held at the DoubleTree in Danvers on November 1, 2013. The donation will fund the granting of local wishes to children with life-threatening illnesses.
