Danvers Project Graduation Volunteers Gearing Up for Another Great Event
We are underway for the 17th annual Project Graduation All-Night Chemical Free Party for the Danvers High School Class of 2012.
Sponsored by the DHS Project Graduation Committee, under Co-chairwomen Carla Vetere and Eileen Ganley, the event will once again take place at the Cedardale Athletic Club in Haverhill on the night of graduation, June 9th.

The committee needs your financial support in order to provide seniors with a safe, chemical free environment where they can relax and spend an evening of fun with their classmates before they go off to college, to jobs or even some to the service.
The night is filled with activities to keep the kids busy and having a great time. There are many entertainment facets, such as vintage clothing photos, caricatures, a baby photo contest, basketball, tennis, racquetball, swimming, karaoke, and a fun hypnosis show. The kids are also provided with a midnight sandwich buffet, snacks, beverages and an ice cream buffet. As the night comes to an end and the sun starts to rise, the students are then bused to the Danversport Yacht Club where the DeLorenzo family generously provides a full-course breakfast for the seniors and the volunteers.

Although the events are under the direction of parent volunteers, there are many costs involved with such a complete evening, including the bus transportation, renting the athletic club, entertainment vendors and some of the food. The Project Graduation Committee does its best to keep the costs down to about $15,000 in order to create an incredible memory as the seniors experience their last night as a high school student.
The business and residential community are encouraged to offer their support and “keep our kids safe”. To make a donation, please send checks to DHS Project Graduation, Danvers High School, 60 Cabot Road, Danvers, Ma 01923.
For companies or individuals who wish to claim the contribution as a tax-deductible donation, checks may be mad out to DEEP (a 501 © (3) organization. Please write Project graduation on the memo line.
Remember that this evening is all about keeping our kids safe!
