Danvers Youth Soccer Seeking Volunteers

We are only a couple of weeks away from Veterans day and for the 6th year Danvers Youth Soccer  is hosting the Danvers Youth Soccer Saluting Soldiers Festival (aka “the Festival”.)

The festival has raised over $35,000 for Operation troop Support that helps pay for holiday shipping expenses for shipping packages to troops stationed in Afghanistan.

This great success is due to the volunteer effort by DYS families and even the referees are all deferring their usual fee and are all volunteers!

The festival has grown every year and this year is no exception. This year we will have over 46 teams from 17 towns with over 550 players playing 70 games These teams consist of 1^st-4^th graders from teams as far away as Springfield!

This is a huge undertaking and this is where you can help! We need volunteers to help staff it and help us defray costs

If you are a past DYS player or coach or even if you have never played but want to help run concessions, help with parking or just to walk around the fields to make sure everything runs well we want to hear from you.

If you are a local business we welcome local corporate/business partners and sponsors to provide goods, services such as concessions food and product as well as ice.
