Have a Plan B? Earn a Second Income Without Working a Second Job
Be in business for yourself, not by yourself. Check out companies that represent products that are of interest to you. Ask questions about the support you get and the compensation plan.
If you’re like me, you’re not a spendthrift or extravagant. You buy from the clearance rack and go to the supermarket that advertises the items you need at the lowest price. Bills come in, checks get written (I’m showing my age) but you’re never caught up when all of a sudden it’s a new month.
Around the same time that I began anticipating a new car payment, I was shown an opportunity to make a second income without going to a second job. Hmmm, I thought, just what I needed. I thought I’d found a way to earn the money for a car. I paid the amount required to get started and was very enthused. I wanted to be an independent rep for a solid company that paid its distributors very well to gather customers instead of the way traditional businesses entice customers by doling millions out on advertising. I liked that idea. I could “tell–not–sell” and was comfortable with that.
Many people stay part time because of their busy schedules and others transition from their 40 hour per week job to solely operate their home based business. Whether you want $300 or $3000 per month, investigate companies, ask questions, keep your options open and then go for it. Network Marketing is a brilliant business model. I finally found my passion in the third company I tried and it's a breath of fresh air! I thought my family, friends, and especially my fiancé, would say “really?” but instead they say, “WOW, this IS perfect for you”!
