Registration is now underway for five Saturday morning sessions, beginning February 4. Kids to College courses are for children in grades K-5, while North Shore Academy is for teens in grades 6-8. Courses will be held at the Danvers Campus and also at the North Shore Technical High School. Course times vary.
Kids to College offerings include programs on cooking, painting, magic, animal care, camping, American Girl dolls and robotics to name a few, while North Shore Academy students can learn to play the guitar, create bath and body products, produce a movie or discover what it takes to become a master chef.
Parents can also take part in sessions that coincide with children's classes. Parents can burn calories with zumba, relax with yoga or find out how to make their lives happier, more organized, and financially prepared in just five weeks.
Courses are $99 per course with the exception of the Master Chef class which is $199. Most materials are included in the course fee, except where otherwise noted.
