Bring your beloved animal friends to be blessed Saturday, October 4, from 1-3 p.m. at Endicott Park

12th Annual Blessing of the Animals Saturday, October 4, 1 -3 at Endicott Park

The Rev. Marya DeCarlen, priest in charge at All Saints Episcopal Church and its Perfect Paws Pet Ministry, invites the North Shore community to bring their beloved animal friends for a personal blessing at the 12th annual Blessing of the Animals, at Endicott Park, Danvers, from 1 to 3 p.m., rain or shine. Every animal blessed receives a certificate of blessing.

All animals are welcome to be blessed, and all faiths are most welcome to participate in this lovely event offered in honor of the Feast of St. Francis, the patron saint of animals and the environment.


Several animal welfare, shelter and rescue organizations will be hosting information tables, including Northeast Animal Shelter, Paws 4 Cure, and Salem Puppy Mill Awareness Day. Also on site, photographer Joey Phoenix who is known for her pet photography and distinctive animal portraiture (http://www.salempetphoto.com/).
