
Yoga Flow with Kathleen
This 60- minute Yoga class is ideal for beginners. It begins with breath work, gentle warm up linked to movement , followed by flowing poses transitioning from one pose to the next, building on foundational strength, stability, and flexibility . Functional movement and breath will be focused on throughout the class. Each week the classes will likely have some variability with the flowing style allowing participants to make choices for their own individual bodies and what feels right to them.
Yoga is an individualized practice so it is encouraged for participants to focus on their own bodies and individual needs. It is advised that participants check with their medical provider prior to starting any new exercise program or regime.
*Participants should bring their own mats, 2 blocks, and water. If they so choose a towel and/or a small pillow for comfort with positions.
About the Instructor
Kathleen Leary successfully completed Breathe for Change Yoga’s 200-hour yoga teacher training program which is registered with the Yoga Alliance. In addition, she completed Breathe for Change Mindfulness, and Social-Emotional Learning Facilitator program. She is honored to have the opportunity to share this yoga practice and journey with you.
