CHARI GOODMAN JOINS BURLINGTON, MASSACHUSETTS BRANCH OF MORTGAGE NETWORK

Increasing home prices, low interest rates spell opportunity for buyers and sellers

Veteran mortgage professional Chari Goodman (NMLS #424923) has joined Mortgage Network Inc., one of the largest independent mortgage lenders in the eastern U.S., as a senior loan officer in the company’s Burlington, Massachusetts branch office. Goodman will be responsible for serving borrowers and homeowners throughout the greater Boston area and surrounding suburbs.

Based in Danvers, Massachusetts, Mortgage Network provides a complete range of conventional, non-conventional, government and reverse residential mortgage loans. Since 2000, the company has sold more than $35 billion in mortgage loans while building a reputation for delivering nationally acclaimed customer service.

Goodman brings to Mortgage Network 30 years of mortgage banking experience. Most recently, she served as a loan originator for Prime Lending, and before that she was a home mortgage consultant with Wells Fargo Home Mortgage. Goodman has lived in Acton, Massachusetts for over 30 years, where she is well connected and involved in the local community.

“There are very few mortgage professionals in our market with Chari’s level of expertise and dedication to borrowers,” said Jane Stanton, manager of Mortgage Network’s Burlington branch. “Her extensive experience and superior product knowledge make her a perfect addition to our office. We’re very lucky to have her.”

“Mortgage Network is well-known in our market for delivering sensational customer service,” Goodman said. “I look forward to continue serving my clients and neighbors with their mortgage and refinancing needs.”

Goodman added that conditions are greatly improving for buyers and sellers in the local area. Home prices are rising at a slower pace than last year, according to the most recent Case-Schiller home price index. Yet more modest price gains combined with low mortgage rates and stronger employment are all positive signs of a healthier market.

“There are more opportunities for buyers and sellers today than we’ve seen in a long time,” Goodman said. “However, there have been many changes to the mortgage process in recent years, too. It’s important that borrowers find an experienced mortgage professional they trust to take the best advantage of their options.”
