Coast to Coast Paddle Makes Big Splash in Danvers

-- Beverly-based paddle board and kayak shop to bring rentals, tours and lessons to Pope's Landing Marine --

Beverly-based COAST TO COAST PADDLE is expanding to offer paddle board and kayak rentals, tours and lessons to the rivers of Danvers. From a kayak and paddleboard rental kiosk at Pope’s Landing Marine, 10 Harbor Street in Danvers, COAST TO COAST PADDLE will provide rentals and instructions for everyone from novice beginners to the most seasoned paddle board and kayak enthusiasts.

“Danvers is a perfect location for enjoying all types of water sports,” said COAST TO COAST PADDLE co-owner Aaron Mearns, an experienced paddle guide and instructor. “The location at Pope’s Landing Marine is easily accessible by land or water and it’s especially convenient for boaters who want to dock for the day and explore the area by paddle board or kayak.” Co-owner Ashley Skomurski, a Danvers native and Danvers High School graduate, agrees. “I love this location because it’s a protected body of water and the tidal environment changes throughout the day. It’s going to be a new and exciting experience every time you’re on the Danvers River.”

COAST TO COAST PADDLE in Danvers will be open 7 days a week for rentals, lessons and tours from Memorial Day weekend through October. For year-round service, the COAST TO COAST PADDLE Beverly location at 296A Cabot Street offers retail sales of paddle boards, kayaks and surf related products as well as traditional beach accessories, from towels to sunscreen to sandals and boogie boards.
