Contested Select Board, School Committee Races In Danvers
Voters will head to the polls on May 3 for the annual town election.

DANVERS, MA — Danvers voters will have choices to make when it comes to the Select Board, School Committee and Library Board of Trustees when they head to the polls for the annual town election on May 3.
Voters will also choose town meeting members in each precinct, while Patricia Frazier is running unopposed for town moderator.
The nomination period closed last Tuesday with the official ballot released on Monday.

There are three candidates running for two three-year Select Board terms with Timothy Trevor Donahue challenging candidates for re-election Daniel Bennett and David Mills.
Two candidates are running for an open three-year term on the School Committee where the choice will be between Paula Jones and Gabriel Lopes.

There are four candidates for three three-year terms on the Library Board of Trustees with Kenneth Yoon Lee challenging Natalie Fiore, Frank Herschede and Julie Curtis.

The final voter registration date for the annual town election is April 13 at 8 p.m.
