COVID-19 Concerns Cancel Essex County Jail Visitations
Public visitations were temporarily suspended effective immediately as of Wednesday.

MIDDLETON, MA — COVID-19 concerns are once again causing a disruption at the Essex County House of Correction.
The Essex County Sheriff's Office said on Wednesday that public visitations were temporarily suspended effective immediately "due to COVID precautions."
Visitations were allowed at the Lawrence and Salisbury facilities.

The Sheriff's Office said it will update when visitations are allowed to resume.
