Crowfunding Campaign Hopes to Complete Endicott Park Nature Center
The campaign hopes to raise $10,000 for an addition at the visitor's center.
DANVERS, MA — Surrounded by a population of 128,000 and serving over 168,000 visitors a year, the 165-acre Endicott Park is officially in need of an addition.
With a need to run educational programs and accommodate visitors, the park is running a crowdfunded campaign on PatroniCity to help raise the funds needed for a new Nature and Environmental Education Center in the Visitor’s Center.
As of Sept. 6, the campaign has raised over $7,300 of its $10,000 goal. Ten days remain in the campaign.

"We've run out of room to run numerous educational programs and activities and need the expanded space to educate even more kids and families about the importance of nature to our lives," the website reads.
"The Center is being built in the existing woodshed structure on the property and will showcase displays that explore our relationship with nature through exhibits and interactive experiences. Designed for visitors of all ages, the family-friendly center will feature changing exhibitions, hands-on displays and a workspace for arts and crafts."
