Dangerous Danvers Intersection Getting A Stop Sign

DANVERS, MA -- Drivers, take note: Danvers will install an all way stop at the intersection of Pickering and Hobart Streets. The new traffic rules go into effect May 1.

According to state crash data, there were two crashes at the intersection between 2013 and 2015, the most recent years for which data is available from the Massachusetts Department of Transportation. MassDOT also reports several accidents in the vicinity of the intersection on both streets during the same time period.
