Danvers Adds January Coronavirus Testing Dates
Drive-thru testing at Danvers High School will include night hours for improved access.
DANVERS, MA — Danvers will hold four additional free, drive-thru coronavirus testing dates for residents in January.
Testing is open to all Danvers residents regardless of systems.
Testing will take place via Cataldo Ambulance at Danvers High School on Jan. 6 from 3 to 7 p.m., Jan. 13 from 8 a.m. to noon, Jan. 20 from 3 to 7 p.m. and Jan. 27 from 8 a.m. to noon.

Testing is open to all ages with pre-registration required here. On days that are not at capacity, some of those who have not pre-registered may be able to be accommodated.
"We will post to our social media accounts if we are able to accommodate," the town said.

Waiting times can exceed one hour during the first one or two hours each day the site it open. Those being tested should bring a driver's license and a pen for proof of registration.
This is the less-invasive nasal swab with results available within 24 to 48 hours.
