DANVERS, MA — The annual Danvers water system flushing program begins next week and runs for the next five weeks.

The Water Division will begin water system flushing on Monday beginning near the Middleton line. Crews will then work southeast across the town over five weeks toward Danversport.

Flushing helps clear sediment, check hydrant flow for firefighting, and improve overall water quality.
