Danvers Annual Town Election Set For May 3

Nomination papers will be available on Feb. 1 with a filing deadline date of March 22.

DANVERS, MA — Danvers residents will head to the polls on May 3 for the annual town election.

The town clerk's office was to present an election calendar to the Select Board during Tuesday's meeting that includes dates for nomination papers and voter registration. This spring's vote will include offices on the Select Board (2), School Committee, Library Board of Trustees and Town Moderator.

Nomination papers will be available on Feb. 1 at the town clerk's office with a submission deadline of March 22 at 5 p.m. The ballot will be available on March 24 by 6 p.m.

Current board members seeking re-election must affirm they are doing so and would like to be on the ballot by March 15.
