Danvers Asks Residents To Conserve Electricity During Heat Wave

The town issued peak demand warnings for Tuesday and Wednesday.

DANVERS, MA -- The town is asking residents to conserve electricity between 3 and 7 pm on Tuesday and Wednesday as a heat wave hits the region. The peak demand times prompted the emergency warning. Danvers said it would notify customers by email by 3 pm on Tuesday on whether or not another emergency demand event would be in place for Wednesday.
