Danvers-Based Professional Profiles Purchased for $4.4 Million
Amedisys announced Monday that they have signed a definitive agreement to buy Professional Profiles.

DANVERS, MA — A personal care company located in Danvers has been purchased by a Louisiana company.
Amedisys announced Monday that they have signed a definitive agreement to buy Professional Profiles for $4.4 million. The deal is expected to close on Sept. 1, according to a press release.
Professional Profiles was founded in 1988 and provides non-medical services that range from personal care to personal shopping, heavy chores, and major cleanouts. They have 384 employees with offices in Brookline, Melrose, and Lowell. They service about 1,000 clients.

“We are thrilled to join the Amedisys family,” Edward F. Kittredge, founder and president of Professional Profiles said in the release. “We’ll have the opportunity to tap into the clinical expertise and corporate infrastructure of a leading home healthcare provider and drive towards the vision of providing truly integrated at home care in Massachusetts.”
