Danvers Celebrating Earth Day With Two-Day Event

Submitted by the Danvers Department of Public Works:

For over 40 years, Earth Day—April 22—has inspired and mobilized individuals and organizations worldwide to demonstrate their commitment to environmental protection and sustainability.

In Danvers, we are celebrating Earth Day by offering residents a two-day event where they can recycle a variety of items not collected by curbside pickup. The Town of Danvers Department of Public Works Earth Day Zero Waste Weekend will be held on May 3 and 4 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Danvers High School parking lot at 60 Cabot Road.

This residential event is co-sponsored with Big Brother Big Sister Foundation, Big Hearted Books, XTechnology Global and JRM.
