Danvers Citizens Academy Registration Now Open

The Citizens Academy is a 10-session program that provides an up-close view of town government.

DANVERS, MA — Registration is now open for the upcoming Danvers Citizens Academy set to begin on Sept. 14.

The Citizens Academy is a 10-session program that provides an up-close view of town government through a variety of classes and interactive activities. The academy is open to Danvers residents who are 16 years old as of July 1. Candidates that work in Danvers but do not work in the town will also be considered.

Classes will run for 10 weeks on Thursdays from 6 to 8:30 p.m. with childcare available.

Registration is open through Aug. 25. Space is limited.
