Danvers Eases Outdoor Water Restrictions Despite Ongoing Drought
Found out when residents can now use sprinklers to provide some relief to their lawns.
DANVERS, MA — Outdoor water restrictions are easing in Danvers because of improved water levels in Middleton Pond despite an ongoing regional drought.
"We would like to thank all our residents and customers for your continued efforts to conserve water and for adhering to the previous restrictions," Danvers Public Works Director Steven King said. "Your cooperation and commitment to reducing outdoor water use have played a meaningful role in helping us achieve the improved conditions we're seeing
today.
"This community-wide effort is one of the key reasons we can move to a lower restriction level."
