Danvers Electric Awarded For Reliability
The American Public Power Association recognized the municipal power company for providing reliable and safe electric service.
DANVERS, MA — Danvers Electric Division is getting high marks for its reliability, according to a national power association.
The American Public Power Association awarded the municipal utility the Reliable Public Power Provider Platinum-level designation for providing reliable and safe electric service.
The three-year designation recognizes power companies that exhibit reliability, safety, workforce development and system improvement. Sound business practices and a utility-wide commitment to safe and reliable delivery of electricity are the criteria.

"We couldn't be prouder to be honored with this designation," Danvers Director of Public Works David Lane said. "This is the culmination of hard work from people who care about Danvers and our customers. While this is a fantastic award that highlights the many accomplishments of the division, Danvers Electric is committed to continuing to look for ways to improve service to our customers."
