Danvers Ends Snow Emergency Parking Ban After 4 Days
Danvers Public Works said the parking ban was set to expire on Thursday morning.
DANVERS, MA — The snow emergency parking ban in Danvers expired on Thursday — four days after it was implemented ahead of the Blizzard of 2026.
"On street parking is now permitted," Danvers DPW said on Thursday morning. "Thank you for your cooperation as we cleared the roads from the storm."
Danvers had extended the ban as it closed downtown to all vehicles on Wednesday night to allow for additional snow removal after the North Shore was hit with more than a foot of snow in Monday's blizzard.
