Danvers LGBTQ+ Pride Community Celebrations Set For June

There will be Pride flag-raising events at the town hall and the police station.

DANVERS, MA — Danvers will kick off its celebration of Pride Month with a pair of flag-raisings and a community Pride Party on the library lawn on June 1.

The town's Pride Community Celebration will start at noon with a flag-raising in front of the town hall featuring keynote speaker Tony Leone, who is the program director for the North Shore Alliance for GLBTQ+ Youth. There will also be a Pride Party on the library lawn set to include drag queen story time, raffles, food and music.

A Pride flag-raising ceremony will also take place at the Danvers Police Station on June 6 at 5:30 p.m.
