Located in the Hobart Street and the Holten/Elm public parking lots, these Level 2, dual-port units use ChargePoint technology and will fully charge an electric vehicle within five to six hours. They join an increasing network of ChargePoint stations throughout North America and can be located with the ChargePoint smartphone app and on the ChargePoint website, making driving electric and hybrid vehicles more convenient. The Town of Danvers is proud to begin offering this service to their customers and the general public.

Drivers of electric vehicles can register with ChargePoint.com and pay directly through the ChargePoint app. Cars will be charged a fee to recover service and maintenance costs. A flat fee of $1.25/hr has been set for both Level 2 charging stations.
Additionally, Danvers Electric has updated its Energy Conservation and Rebate program to include a one-time $300 rebate on residential Level 2 electric vehicle charging stations and associated installation costs.
