"There is no signage that prohibits a motor vehicle in the left lane from continuing past the Route 128 southbound ramp and turning left at Purchase Street. Vehicles in the left lane cannot go straight through the Purchase Street intersection continuing onto High Street," the department posted.

But lest that infuriates you, the police added that if you have a complaint or think there should be different signage or a different design to the intersection they don't make the law, they just enforce it.
