Danvers Historical Society 8th Annual Parade of Trees
Fun way to kick off the holiday season for the whole family while helping raise funds for the Danvers Historical Society Education programs.

The 8th Annual Parade of Trees hosted by the Danvers Historical Society will be held November 30th through December 3rd at Tapley Memorial Hall, 13 Page St. Local businesses, families, clubs, and organizations donate trees and wreaths to be raffled away on December 3rd.
Sponsored by Salem Five Cents Savings Bank and Mountain Once Bank, The Parade of Trees is also featuring a food drive in partnership with Gienapp Design's creative "CANstruction" display to benefit the Danvers Food Pantry. Please donate non-perishable foods when you visit the FREE display of trees & wreaths Wednesday through Friday 1pm-8pm and Saturday December 3rd, 10am – 5pm. Food donations can also be made at The Jeremiah Page House, 11 Page Street, M-F,9am – 1pm, and at Gienapp Design, Conant Street, 8:30am-5:30pm.
The Parade of Trees kicks off with a Preview Party sponsored by Daniella's Cafe on November 29th, 6-8pm. General admission is $10. Enjoy the festivities for free from Wednesday to Saturday and purchase your chances to WIN!!! Raffle Tickets will be sold all week! All proceeds benefit the educational and preservation mission of the Danvers Historical Society.
Wednesday, November 30th from 1pm to 8pm is Senior Appreciation Day. A variety of Holiday and "Oldies" style acoustic tunes will be performed by Dan Tremblay and Lorraine Tempone from 1-3pm. Live accapella music by The Essex Harmony will be featured from 7-8pm.

Thursday, December 1st from 1 pm to 8pm will feature a Polar Express Evening sponsored by MountainOneBank. Children are invited to dress in their favorite PJs and listen to the theatrical reading of "The Polar Express" at 6:30 pm complete with hot chocolate and a gift for each child.
The fun continues on Friday, December 2nd from 1pm to 8pm.
Saturday, December 3rd doors open at 10:00 am and will run in conjunction with the Downtown Holiday Festival. The day will feature The Music Connection ensemble entertaining from 1:30 - 3:00 pm. Radio 103.3 Street team will be offering games, family fun and cool prizes from 2:30 to 4:30. Comeau Health Care presents Magician Jay Fraser, ACME Tricks from 3:30-4:30. Be sure to visit the Parade of Trees and purchase your raffle tickets by 5:00 as the Winning Tickets will be drawn Saturday at 5:15pm after the Tree Lighting Ceremony in the Square. Winners need not be present.
